Deputy Company Manager

Contract: Permanent contract commencing July/August 2025
Location: Elmbank Crescent, Productions Studios, Glasgow and on tour
Salary: £31,930 per annum plus benefits

The Deputy Company Manager works with the Company Manager, deputising when needed, to manage duties and administration associated with day-to-day support and welfare of the performing ensemble and non-performing staff during Scottish Opera’s rehearsal and performance activity in Glasgow and on tour.
Our ideal candidate will have a high standard of numeracy and literacy, possess excellent organisational skills, be computer literate, and work well as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, and who will show energy and enthusiasm for getting things done and giving the best possible service to guest artists and the public. You will have good interpersonal and communication skills.
The position is based at Scottish Opera’s headquarters in central Glasgow. Evening, weekend and out of hours work during busy rehearsal and performance periods is required as part of the role.
