Merge Up! 2027

The custom of collective artistic creation, which is common in many expressive forms, is extremely rare in the context of the composition of contemporary art music. Divertimento Ensemble, supported by the Ulysses Platform, invites collectives to participate in an international Call to explore this approach. The aim is to encourage collaborative production of new musical or multimedia works by established or newly formed groups.

May 15, 2026 – Application deadline
May 25, 2026 – Selection of results announced
June 2026 – First meeting: the Collective and Divertimento Ensemble will define the project's guidelines, phases, and timeline
June 2026 – April 2027 – Collaborative work period, including meetings and updates
May 10, 2027 – Score and parts submission deadline
September 2027 – First performance in Milan
