For sale is my wonderful full size violin by Job Ardern, Wilmslow, England. Circa 1870
A beautiful handmade violin, believed to of been acquired by the prominent Hill and Sons Workshops after his death. The violin has its original fittings a Hill and Sons Neck, fingerboard (with Hill number), Rosewood and silver tailpiece, plus Hill and Sons Case.
The violin is on the smaller side with a back length of 354mm and a stop length of 193mm. The violin is ideal for a soloist it produces a powerful but spiritly sound. The violin can be sold with a string of your own preference and you can have a choice between a brand new case or keeping the original (albeit a little tatty) any questions please feel free to get in contact.
