The London Philharmonic Orchestra has an exciting vacancy for an Assistant Stage Manager. The role involves supporting the Stage & Operations Manager with all aspects of planning and delivery for the Orchestra’s rehearsals, concerts, film sessions, and recordings in the UK and abroad, as well as leading on regional residencies and education projects. We are seeking a practical, organised and proactive team player with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to work varied hours and travel internationally.
The Assistant Stage Manager assists with the planning and operation of all technical, stage management and instrument transportation requirements of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Assistant Stage Manager’s role is to assist the Stage & Operations Manager on all aspect of planning, to ensure the smooth running of the Orchestra’s rehearsals, concerts, film sessions and audio & visual recordings, both in the UK and abroad.
The Assistant Stage Manager will lead on areas such as regional residencies and education projects. This is a great opportunity for someone to embed themselves in a world-class orchestra, and develop and progress their skills within a supportive, highly professional environment.
