Library Assistant

The RNCM’s award-winning Library is looking to recruit to its small, dedicated team a part-time Library Assistant. The main duties for the successful applicant will be to staff the main Library service point, dealing with the issue and return of material and assisting users with enquiries, actively contributing to the delivery of a professional, user-focused service.

An excellent knowledge of classical music (preferably with a formal qualification), good communication, interpersonal and IT skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure, are essential requirements. Experience of working within a library or similar customer-service environment would be advantageous.
