HISTORY:
Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (JCSO) is Metro Atlanta’s only fully professional, part-time symphonic orchestra. JCSO is the result of the vision of founder J. Wayne Baughman, who witnessed dramatic growth in northeast Fulton County and the emergence of Johns Creek as a leading community. Maestro Baughman believed there was a need for a performing arts organization that would become a cornerstone of culture for the area, and after two years of planning and a successful trial concert in December 2006, JCSO was incorporated on April 28, 2007.
