41st Online International Opera Singing Competition “Piero Boni”

10 - 30 Sep, 2025

The last editions were held in presence. The next one will be held online to give even more international scope and reward the most promising young people in the international scene. Two online trials are pre-scheduled: Preselection and Final. Winners will get award diplomas based on their score and the top 3 singers with the highest overall score will receive 3 cash scholarships. This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
