2nd Puerto Rico Flute Festival Young Artist Competition

The Puerto Rico Flute Festival will take place from June 11 to 13, 2027, with the first round of our 2nd Young Artist Competition being a video submission and the final round being held live in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 13, 2027.
This is open to advanced flutists of all nationalities born on or after June 13, 1996. Applications will open from September 1, 2026, to December 1, 2026.
PRFF's international competition provides young flutists the opportunity to elevate their artistry and gain valuable recognition, all aligned with this year’s theme: ODYSSEY
1st Prize: $1,500 USD + Festival Pass & Masterclass Participation at the 1st Tallinn Flute Fest in Tallinn, Estonia
2nd Prize: $700 USD + Full Access & Masterclass Participation at the 2028 Texas Summer Flute Symposium in Texas, USA
3rd Prize: $500 USD + Full Access and Masterclass Participation at the 2027 Los Angeles Flute Convention in Los Angeles, California, USA
