6th Opera Masterclass with Medea Iassonidi – The Vocal Technique

Join renowned vocal coach, casting director, accompanist, and soprano Medea Iassonidi for an intensive opera masterclass in the charming city of Ptuj, Slovenia, from July 7–12, 2025. With over 40 years of experience in major opera houses, Medea shares her invaluable insight into interpretation, performance and vocal technique, focusing on the Old Italian School of Singing (p. ex. “succhiato”, “il canto sul laringe”).

Each singer receives two individual lessons per day with piano accompaniment—morning lessons will focus on technique and afternoon lessons on chosen repertoire. The course will conclude with a final concert in the stunning Castle Borl on July 12th.

Open to singers of all ages and voice types.
LIMITED TO 5 SINGERS.

Fees:
€50 application, €500 tuition. Passive participation is FREE.
