International Conductors Guild - String & Orch Educator Workshop

The International Conductors Guild is pleased to host the 2025 String & Orchestra Educator’s Conducting Workshop, October 24 – 26, 2025 on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (IL) with two outstanding and longtime educators, Dr. Sandra Dackow, and Dr. Michael Mishra.
The String & Orchestra Educator's Conducting Workshop offers hands-on conducting sessions with the strings of the SIUE Orchestra. Active participants will conduct every day and will receive coaching and video review sessions.
Workshop Repertoire includes:
Mozart: Eine kleine Nachtmusik, movements 1 and 2
Tchaikovsky: String Serenade, movement 3
Soon Hee Newbold: Perseus
Mahler: Symphony No. 1, movement 2 (arr. Sandra Dackow, published by Tempo Press)
Continuing Education Units from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
also available at additional cost.
Conductors at all levels are welcome.
