Strings (ages 12-17)

The Strings summer school is aimed at 12 – 17 year olds playing at Grade 6 and above who want to continue their practice and learning, develop their technical and performance skills, and connect with like-minded people.

This course offers one-to-one tuition, technique and performance classes and ensemble coaching. The course will be led by Andrea Gajic, supported by academics from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and professional musicians from the world of string playing.

The course will provide young musicians with an opportunity to:

- Develop musically and technically
- Build repertoire and performing experience
- Become aware of various practice techniques and the importance of critical listening
- Meet other students passionate about music
