Dohnanyi Academy’s Conducting Masterclass 2026

An excellent opportunity to study in Budapest with outstanding conductor and music educator Mᵒ Gábor Hollerung. A 9-day conducting masterclass with first-class Budafok Dohnanyi Orchestra. Ten sessions with the orchestra and two rehearsals with two pianos for passive participants only. Excellent working atmosphere and focus on deep understanding of repertoire compositions: Mozart: Violin Concerto No.5 in A major, K 219; Tchaikovsky: Symphony No.4, op.36, F minor; Bartók: Music for stringed instruments, percussion and celesta, Sz. 106. Active participation limited to max. 11 highly talented conductors. No age limit. Final concert in the most prestigious and magnificent Vigadó Concert Hall.
