Masterclass - Hortensia Music Festival 2026

Applications are now open for the Hortênsia Music Festival 2026 Masterclasses, taking place from 3 to 10 September 2026 in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal.
Open to violin, viola, cello and piano students, the HMF Masterclasses offer an inspiring week of individual lessons, chamber music, workshops, concerts and artistic exchange with an exceptional international faculty, in the unique setting of the Azores.
Faculty:
Violin: Maria-Elisabeth Lott, Hrachya Avanesyan, Jack Liebeck, Tamila Kharambura
Viola: Hiyoli Togawa, Paul Tulloch
Cello: Kyril Zlotnikov, Sevak Avanesyan, Shenghan Gao
Piano: Matan Porat, Anna Ulaieva and Iryna Brazhnik.
Alongside individual lessons, participants will experience the wider festival atmosphere, attend concerts, and immerse themselves in the beauty of Azores environment.
