Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme 26-27

Our unique Foundation Programme gives recent music graduates of all backgrounds first steps into professional careers. Open to musicians up to two years after leaving formal study (degree/fellowship) as long as they have the right to work in the UK from October 2026 - July 2027.

Running a range of ambitious projects, the Foundation Programme will give opportunity to 36 instrumentalists, soloists, conductor, singers and composer annually. As well as paid work in four orchestral concerts in London, participants will be supported by wraparound sessions each season, with mentoring from Orpheus Principals and support from eminent industry professionals. The Foundation Programme will establish a lasting
space in which emerging professionals can explore and develop future livelihoods. It provides a juncture to realise creative entrepreneurship and to learn how to work. It creates, inspires and sustains futures in music.
