Nelli Shkolnikova Academy

The renowned violinist NELLI SHKOLNIKOVA taught for many years at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her unique style of teaching in the traditions of the Rusisan violin school is recognized worldwide and produced many wonderful musicians. In hommage to Nelli Shkolnikova, her pupils, carriers of this tradition, invite talented students to join them this summer for an intensive string retreat at the magnificent Chateau de La Flocelliere in France. Faculty include members of the world's finest orchestras (New York Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Monte Carlo Philharmonic…) and teachers at international conservatories (Musikene, Ecole Normale…)

Unique to this academy is the opportunity for students to take daily private lessons from multiple faculty. Students will also have chamber music coachings, special masterclasses (alternative styles, audition preparation, etc.) and performance opportunities with professional accompanists in a convivial and nurturing atmosphere.
