Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava invites applications for the position of First violin tutti

The auditions will be held on 10th May 2024
in SND new building on Pribinova 17, 819 01 Bratislava
Application deadline 1st May 2024
Start date 15th August 2024

Applicants are kindly requested to submit their applications including:
Brief professional CV
A copy of the highest attained degree certificate in Music
(minimum degree requirement is conservatory or – in case of schools outside Slovakia, a degree from a secondary school in a given speciality), or a certificate of current university studies in a given speciality;
Personal data processing (GDPR) consent (a permit written in the application mail).

Audition repertoire:
• one of the violin concertos by W. A. Mozart: No 3 in G major (K 216), No 4 in D major (K 218), No 5 in A major (K 219) – 1st movement with cadence
• one great violin concerto from romantic period (including L. van Beethoven), or concerto from the first half of the 20th century - first movement with cadence.
• orchestral excerpts from the standard repertoire available at the following link: https://snd.sk/konkurzy-na-umelcov,
• sight reading.

If the candidates require a répétiteur provided by the SND free of charge, they are kindly asked
to send the request along with the application.
Candidates are also welcome to bring their own piano répétiteur at their own expenses.
We offer a starting salary from Euro 1,390 gross + artistic and personal bonuses + 1-week extra vacation.
