Arcis Saxophon Quartett

Do you want to join one of the most active and innovative saxophone ensembles in the world, performing at the highest international level?
The Arcis Saxophone Quartet is looking for a new member (alto or tenor) starting January 1st, 2026, someone who shares our vision of musical excellence, creative freedom, and lasting impact through art.
For 17 years, we’ve been among the most active classical saxophonists worldwide, performing at festivals, concert halls, clubs, churches, and classical music hotspots, from Boston to Abu Dhabi. Our artistic scope ranges from modern-classical repertoire to original concert formats, dance productions, and CD releases on our own label.
We are currently expanding our overall project “arcis,” which includes:
the quartet, the dance collective arcis_collective, arcis records, arcis visuals, arcis academy, and more.
We are looking for someone who…
• has an excellent level of chamber music playing
• is reliable and a true team player
• is interested in music of today and interdisciplinary formats
• is ready to commit to a long-term, professional collaboration
• plays alto or tenor saxophone
We offer…
• approx. 40–60 concerts per year (in Germany and worldwide) = full-time performance and rehearsal activity
• fixed, monthly income
• clear roles, a professional structure, and shared strategic direction
• innovative concert formats, original productions, and our own label
• a highly motivated and well-established team with a strong long-term vision
• a strong, internationally recognized name and a network built over 17 years
• professionally run management and organizational support

• rehearsal base: Munich, Germany
• residency within commuting distance is required
