Generalmusikdirektor (Chief conductor)

Your responsibilities:
as General Music Director, you are responsible for the artistic quality of the music theater from the Baroque period to the present, as well as the administrative and musical responsibility for the Meininger Hofkapelle and the music theater, in collaboration with the theater management and the opera direction.

Your profile:
we are looking for a competent individual person who can further develop the traditions of their predecessors and set their own accents. The confident assumption of leadership responsibilities and ensemble care, as well as competent personnel management, is expected in order to provide significant impulses to the Staatstheater Meiningen and the Meininger Hofkapelle. A residence obligation is required.
