Academy positions - cello, percussion, violin, viola, double bass

The Academy of the Nederlands Philharmonic Orchestra & Netherlands Chamber Orchestra is unique. Every year we organise auditions and select young talented musicians to perform with us on the stage of the reknown Concertgebouw as well as the National opera in Amsterdam. The attraction of our academy lies not only in the diversity between concert and opera, these young musicians also learn about the differences in approach, repertoire and culture between a symphony orchestra and a chamber orchestra. We offer experience in educational projects, chamber music and help and train musicians for future auditions. Since 2012 we have been training young musicians who get a chance to perform demanding programmes with top conductors and world class soloists. Many of our academists have now found places in the best European symphony an chamber orchestras.
