Klangforum Wien invites applications for a saxophone position in one of the world’s leading ensembles for contemporary music.
Since its founding in 1985 by composer and conductor Beat Furrer, the ensemble has been at the forefront of new musical developments. As a collective of soloists, Klangforum Wien performs more than 80 concerts each season worldwide, touring internationally and appearing at major festivals, renowned concert halls, and opera houses. The ensemble also presents its own concert series at the Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna, alongside numerous recordings and innovative artistic projects.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leading composers and conductors and to shape the future of contemporary music within a highly dedicated artistic collective.
