The Management of Wrocław Opera announces auditions for the position of: orchestral musician tutti: violin I.
Requirements:
- Master degree in music: violin,
- orchestra experience.
Please submit your application, including a CV, by May 15, 2026 till 14:00, to the following email address: tomasz.starzec@opera.wroclaw.pl. Subject line: "Auditions for the position of orchestral musician tutti: violin I".
You will be provided the orchestra materials via e-mail. The orchestra inspector will forward them to you after receiving you application form.
Selected candidates will be invited to the auditions, will take place on May 22 , 2026 at the Wrocław Opera House (Świdnicka 35 street, 50-066 Wrocław).
The Opera does not reimburse travel or accommodation expenses.
The Opera provides a staff pianist for the auditions.

Programme:
1. W. A. Mozart: I part of Violin Concerto with cadenza, chosen from:
- Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major KV 216,
- Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major KV 218,
- Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major KV 219.
2. Extracts from orchestra parts:
- S. Prokofiev, Romeo i Julia - Nr. 6 (from the beginning till nr. 30),
- S. Moniuszko, Straszny Dwór - Nr. 2 (from the beginning till 2. bars after nr. 33),
- S. Moniuszko, Straszny Dwór - Nr. 5 (from the beginning till nr. 66),
- W. A. Mozart, Le Nozze di Figaro - Ouverture,
- W. A. Mozart, Die Zauberflöte - Ouverture,
- J. Strauss, Die Fledermaus - Ouverture (from the beginning till bar 36),
- G. Puccini, La Bohème - Akt IV (Allegro).
