Excellent instrument in great condition, big solid sound and great projection. It’s been a very well-behaved instrument which has travelled extensively and mechanically never given me a moment’s bother; no cracks or any other bore problems; silver plating all 100%.
I’m selling as I’ve just got a new Howarth that’s a bit lighter to hold. I’ve put back the original thumb rest but it has holes for a Kooiman thumb rest (I can give you one of these for free if you'd like). Includes x2 crooks (XL2 & XL3) and is best suited to a narrower reed (-1/-1N shape). Comes in brand new Marcus Bonna case with backpack straps (worth £375).
Can be tried by arrangement in London or Brighton. Audio examples available soon.
