This violin was handcrafted in Mirecourt, France by René Jacquemin around 1930.
Made in the traditions of the Mirecourt school, this instrument features a beautiful one-piece back, carefully selected spruce and maple, classic French arching, and a refined varnish that reflects its era. The tone is warm, balanced, and clear, incredible sonorous top register. ideal for advancing students or professional players seeking a very good example of a french instrument with character.
Length of back the excluding the button is 35.5cm.
The violin currently has on a new set of Pirazzi Neo and has been setup to a professional standard by Martin Jones a renowned Luthier who graduated from Newark school of violin making.
