This Heckel, #7761, has been mine for 50 years and has been cared for and refurbished by Jimmy Keys in Nashville throughout my ownership. It is an exceptional instrument which I have played in numerous orchestras and chamber groups during my college years at North Texas and New England Conservatory of Music and after in New England, Arkansas, Texas, Ohio and Florida. It includes a Heckel bocal (#2) and a deluxe case. My health no longer allows me to play, so I want a good bassoonist to make good use of it as I have done.
