Double Bass Bow:
PW Bryant Bass Bow French Pattern

A fine silver mounted bow by PW Bryant.
The frog has a couple of small chips, see photos.
This bow was one of three made especially for Eugene Cruft, who held the position of principal bass for 20 years in the BBCSO, among other prestigious positions, during the first half of the 20th C. He then passed this one on to his student Juliet Cunningham, who also played for the BBCSO, who later sold it to her colleague in the BBCSO who then eventually sold it to me in 2015.
I’ve used this bow for professional and semi-professional orchestral and pit work. It would make a suitable bow for a professional.
I’m also including a good quality solid bow case.
