Fine Italian Violin made in the Bennettini workshops Milan Circa 1890

Fine full-size Italian violin, Stradivarius model made in the Bennettini workshops in Milan circa 1890, labelled, Bennettini Via S Giovanni alla Conca 45 Milano.
This violin is in excellent playing condition producing a deep warm mellow tone with good volume. The varnish is a fine transparent amber/brown in colour and completely original. Fully blocked with maple linings.Purfling neatly inlaid,excellent edgework.Beautifully flamed two back,ribs neck and scroll.
Violin makers Working in the Bennettini workshops in Milan were active from 1865 to 1890 producing professional quality instruments. The back length is 35.9 cms.
