Hourly Paid: £49.31 per hour (including holiday pay)
Permanent, Part Time (Saturdays)
Junior Guildhall has a vacancy for a Musical Awareness Teacher – Conducting from September 2025 on the Music Course (11-19 year olds) at Silk Street, Barbican. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated, outstanding musician with a proven track record of working with talented students to be involved in this specialist music school on Saturdays. Teaching will include delivering classroom-based tuition to students across the age range as well as the opportunity for individual teaching within the specialism. Currently the role involves around 6 hours of teaching but could extend to further hours over time.
Enhanced DBS checks will be required.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as part of the selection process the successful applicant will be required to obtain a Disclosure and Employee Handbook - Recruitment & Selection Policy Page 11 of 13 Barring Service check.
