Vocal Tutor, Centre for Advanced Training
We're looking for a new Vocal Tutor to join our Make Music team!
The important stuff:
Deadline for applications: 12pm, 3rd August 2025
Reports to: Study Leader (Vocal)
Location: Gateshead, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music
Working hours: 4 Hours on Sundays, within the timeframe 9am-5pm
Salary: SCP 56 - £35.71 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
Duration: Teaching begins Sept 14th 2025 to July 2026.
As part of our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) team, you’ll be one of the vocal tutors helping young singers (aged 10–18) build their skills and find their voice. Most of the work’s rooted in classical repertoire, with a bit of musical theatre and choral thrown in too. It’s one-to-one teaching, ensemble coaching, and getting young people performance-ready – all happening on Sundays during term time at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music.
