The Yehudi Menuhin School's unique virtual school provides opportunities for young musicians from around the world to engage in world-class musicianship and instrumental lessons online. The position is for a Teacher of Musicianship in VMS.

This is a Permanent, Part-time position.

It's anticipated the teaching will more or less follow the present routine as follows:

Fridays 15:30-17:00 (3 x 30-minute Musicianship classes - groups up to 4).

Saturdays 07:15-10.30 (4 x 30-minute Musicianship classes - groups up to 4), (1 x 30-minute Music History - group up to 15), (1 x 45-minute Homework Clinic - group up to 15).

The salary is £5,000 per annum. YMS also offers a very generous pension, contributing 13.5% every month, with the employee contributing at least 6%.

The School is registered with the DBS and successful applicants will be required to complete successfully the Disclosure Procedure at Enhanced level. It is an offence for a person barred from working with children to apply for this post.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
