3rd Alberto Lysy international violin competition

The Alberto Lysy International Violin Competition was created with the intention of promoting young violinists from all over the world, as well as cherishing the great violinist Alberto Lysy and his legacy.
A four years loan of a beautiful and fantastically sounding Vuillaume violin constitutes the first Prize of the competition as well as 16 000 CHF of Prize money shared between 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize.
All rounds are open to the public and take place in Gstaad.
This edition's jury:
-Adelina Oprean — Violin professor at the Music Academy Basel
-Philippe Graffin — Concert Violinist, professor at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris and Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel
-Oleg Kaskiv — Artistic Director and violin professor at the International Menuhin Music Academy
-Pablo de Naveran — Chamber music professor at the International Menuhin Music Academy
-Lukas Wittermann — Managing Director of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy
