Composing Time and Space: Transdisciplinary Approaches

This course, led by composer Thanasis Deligiannis, is open to composers, sound artists, creative instrumentalists, and artists working with light, video, and body movement.

Rather than focusing on finished compositions, the course invites participants to cross disciplines and rethink their artistic practice. Participants are welcome to bring draft ideas, fragments, or ongoing material, which can be explored and worked with during the workshop collectively.

The course combines a seminar-based part with a physical, practice-oriented part. In the seminar, we examine through exchange, what a creative process can be and how it is actively designed. In the physical workshop, participants are directly involved in listening, coordination, and movement exercises, with tools drawn from theatre, dance, and music composition.

The outcome of the work will be shared at the Time of Music Festival programme.
