Violin course in Aberystwyth Muiscfest with Sigyn Fossnes

Our string courses at Musicfest are a joint solo program and a chamber music course, specialising in violin, viola, and cello. The 8-day course schedule includes:
Warm up
Individual lessons
Individual practice
Masterclasses with pianist
Chambermusic lesson and rehearsals
Showcase concerts
All students are part of this daily plan. Students can apply alone or together as a chamber group. All participants on the string course will be placed in a chamber group with others of the same level and age.

Every student will have several opportunities to rehearse with an accompanist and perform at least once in both a masterclass and a concert. Our regular Showcase Concerts in the Great Hall provide wonderful performing opportunities for the students.
