Oboe & Clarinet Masterclass

AltreVoci Ensemble organises a masterclass for composers and performers focused on oboe and clarinet in contemporary repertoire.
The work will focus on the technical analysis of certain works for the instruments concerned, as well as on a “tactile” approach to sound: a lively and concrete reflection on the relationship between instruments, performers and composers, understood as a terrain of mutual discovery. This dialogue between composers and performers will become the main driving force behind the experience, leaving ample room for experimentation and the collective construction of the path. Contemporary repertoire will serve as the privileged testing ground for delving into the characteristics of these instruments, also including English Horn, Oboe d’Amore, Basset Horn
and Bass Clarinet, analysing how to move from one instrument to the other while maintaining their distinctiveness, and at the same time encouraging multiple approaches and possibilities.
