Opera Conducting Academy: Magic Flute

The Ensemble OrQuesta team are opening another Mozart Conducting Academy in 2026 with performances at St Johns the Evangelist Hastings and Arcola Theatre, London.
Rehearsals will take place in Hastings from 13th to 21th August with a performance on 22nd August and one subsequent performance in London on 27th August.
This academy will be in partnership with the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra and the performance will be accompanied by an HPO Ensemble of 8 musicians.
Participating conductors will be coached on opera conducting technique.
The academy will be led by EO’s, and Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra’s artistic director Marcio da Silva.
Each of the four participating conductors will conduct at least one on the two Acts of the opera. In the subsequent performances they can participate as assistants.

Tuition fee: £1,500 (does not include accommodation)
