Sub-Principal Horn
The vision of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra is to be a world class orchestra that nurtures exceptional music making for all.
The SCO is seeking an outstanding candidate to fill the position of Sub-Principal Horn. As a permanent performing member of the SCO, the successful applicant will be an integral part of the orchestra. As a significant amount of the orchestra’s work requires the use of Natural instruments, SCO are looking for a candidate who has a willingness and potential to develop the expertise that SCO has built up in this field.
There will be two rounds of auditions. The 1st round will be an open call for (anonymous) digital submissions. The 2nd round will be a live audition, to be held in Edinburgh in October - dates TBC.
