Solo Cello

Tapiola Sinfonietta is calling for applications for a Solo Cellist. The two solo cellists lead their section with their courageous and visionary example in co-operation with the concertmasters and other section leaders. The solo cellists are responsible for the cello ensemble playing and making sure the work is divided evenly among the section's players as well as maintaining their soloistic preparedness. Audience outreach and chamber music in smaller ensembles are a vital part of the Tapiola Sinfonietta's activities and the musician's job description.
