For sale is a historical Heckel Basson made in Germany in 1894. Heckel Bassoons is one of the oldest wooden instrument making workshops in the world. The Heckel bassoons are the stuff of legends used by more orchestra professionals than any other bassoon, the sound of an older Heckel is unlike anything else in the bassoon world. Although the bassoon has been around for hundreds of years, the modern German-system bassoon was invented by Heckel around 1870, with their 3000 series instruments.

This Heckel is a late 3000 series bassoon and is a perfect addition to any wind or woodwind collection.
