Modern German Double Bass 3/4

This is a 3/4 German double bass. I've owned this instrument since 2019 and it got me into UK Conservatoire studies.

It's a small 3/4 size bass with violin corners and a fully gated C Extension made by Martyn Bailey in 2019. It's got a lovely flamed back and a very nice varnish. There is a very small crack just below the block on the back, but this is cosmetic and left over from a neck repair that Martyn Bailey performed.

The bottom three strings are quite punchy and clear, and the extension notes are very loud. The upper register is maybe a little tight, but I feel playing it in a bit more would definitely help.

I'm very fond of this bass but am selling due to space constraints and I have a main bass that I am very happy with. I'll be throwing in a 12mm Westbury black padded case. It is virtually unused and in pretty much new condition.

I'd be open to offers on this instrument - I'd rather like it to be played. I think it has the potential to make someone very happy.
