This Buffet Festival 1139 Green Line clarinet is really special to me.
I went to the Buffet factory with my teacher Pascal Moragues, and together we tried eight Festival clarinets one by one. This is the one we both chose — the most stable response and the sound that stood out immediately. My teacher even said, “This is the one.”
It’s the 19-key model with the low-F correction, a really practical and professional setup that makes the low register cleaner and more reliable.
Even though I selected it so carefully, it has always been my backup instrument, so it’s basically in brand-new condition. I’ve barely played it, and it has been kept extremely well.
