Cello bow by Louis Joseph Morizot (père), silver mounted, certified by Raffin (Paris).
Dated circa 1920, from the period of documented collaboration with Eugène Sartory, as confirmed by the Raffin certificate.
The bow was made for Collin-Mezin, bearing the original brand on the stick.
The stick is of high-quality pernambuco and is slightly shorter than standard (68.7 cm), without compromising stability or control.
The bow offers excellent hold, balance, and responsiveness.
It produces a soft, round, and refined sound, with outstanding expressive potential, allowing for a wide range of colors, nuances, and dynamic shading.
The frog and button currently mounted are not original; the original frog and button are preserved and included, together with the Raffin certificate.
