Full sized cello (4/4), The Artist Apollo, Rushworth & Dreaper, Liverpool, 1928, with JG Bottoni bow

Rarely available cello from a sought after period, made in 1928 for Rushworth & Dreaper, Liverpool. One owner for the last 23 years.
Based on personal experience, suitable for learners and advanced players. I've owned this cello for over 20 years, and it served me throughout my school years from Grade 3 to Grade 8, solo, orchestra and chamber music performances.
It has been a long time since I've played properly, and despite my sentimental attachment to this wonderful instrument, it is high time it found a new home, as it deserves to be played.

• Beautifully flamed maple back
• Original golden-brown varnish with natural craquelure
• Label: dated 1928 (Rushworth & Dreaper)
• Last serviced in 2018, fitted with a new sound post and bridge.
• Case included
Bow
• JG Bottoni octagonal bow made from pernambuco wood
• Silver mounted with mother-of-pearl inlay
• Firm and sturdy bow in excellent condition suitable for day to day use and performances
