Lead Early Years Music Tutor
Trafford Music Service are seeking an experienced and inspiring Early Years leader to:
Liaise with nursery and Early Years settings and map music provision across the Trafford area.
Organise music events that target the engagement of children in the Early Years.
Plan, promote and deliver music projects in schools in Trafford and external settings.
Oversee and deliver the Rhyme and Chime sessions at the music centre.
Provide high quality CPD to Early Years practitioners and model best practice.
This role offers the chance to influence and develop our Early Years service direction, champion high standards, and work collaboratively to support our passionate teaching team.

About You
Your style and approach will reflect our Music Service values and behaviours. You will be committed to continually learning and improving the way you do things to ensure high quality music provision for all pupils.
Success in this role relies on exceptional organisational ability and strong ICT skills and an ability to work efficiently to deadlines. Excellent communication, planning and delivery is essential to this role, and above all else we want to recruit someone with a love for Early Years and teaching children and inspiring the next generation of children to be musical.
You will have significant experience of planning and delivering music learning to groups or whole classes of children within Early Years educational settings, and hold a degree in Music, Education or a closely related field.

This post is contracted on Teachers Pay and Conditions Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale 3-6 for 14 hours per week (0.51 FTE). The working hours for this post are term time only.
The successful candidate must be able to work on Wednesday mornings to oversee the management and delivery of the Rhyme and Chime sessions at the Claremont Music Centre.
With the exception of the above, all other working hours and days are negotiable during the school day, with flexibility to work from home where appropriate and depending on organisational needs (for example, when in person attendance is required for meetings).
The Music Service runs concerts once per term, which take place on a weekend (usually a Sunday) and you will be required to attend.
An enhanced DBS check with children/adults barred list check will be required.
