Schools Programme Assistant

Opera North is England’s national opera company in the North and one of Europe’s leading arts organisations. Through its Learning & Engagement activity, the Company seeks to encourage people, of all ages and from all walks of life, to explore the art form of opera and the work of Opera North; in doing so it seeks to break down perceived barriers to engagement with the artform. An opportunity has arisen within the Learning & Engagement team for a Schools Programme Assistant to provide administrative support to the Schools Programme team to ensure efficient and effective programme delivery.

The successful candidate will be able to evidence excellent administration skills with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken, and strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills with people of all ages. This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.

Salary: £23,400 per annum
