A stunning and beautifully crafted modern viola. (2011) It produces a rich warm sound with wonderful clarity. Dark and rich lower notes with complex overtones, and contastingly sweet lyrical tone in the higher registers.
The varnish work and craftsmanship is truly exceptional. The Viola has been very well looked after by me, and is in near perfect condition. It is only being sold due to my main occupation now playing violin. For early professionals or advanced students alike, this would make a wonderful investment from this highly regarded maker. He was recent prize winner of the International Viola Making Prize “Coup de coeur Renaud Stahl” in Paris, and has since won other awards and been featured in the strad magazine.
