Producer 70% to Östgötamusiken

Östgötamusiken is part of Scenkonst Öst and has been given an assignment by Region Östergötland to make culture and music available to everyone. Our task is to ensure that people of all ages across the entire region can enjoy quality music experiences. Children, young people, families and the elderly are offered the chance to regularly experience musicians and to enjoy, and take part in, music activities and concerts. Östgötamusiken is solidly established in the region and works actively to identify new activities involving collaboration with freelance artists, conductors, soloists and ensembles. All this with the aim of creating exciting interaction between people and cultural events. We have 17 employed musicians, who are mainly active in the Nordic Wind Ensemble, the Östgöta Brass Quintet, the Crusell Quintet and the Östgöta Band.

Responsibilities
As a producer, you will lead various projects, mainly public productions at Östgötamusiken for Nordic Wind Ensemble and our three professional chamber ensembles. You are responsible for ensuring that all internal functions co-operate, working closely with Östgötamusikens Artistic Director, administrative colleagues and musicians. As a producer, you have financial responsibility for decided productions as well as overall responsibility for the practical implementation of the arrangements.
You will communicate with our guest musicians, conductors and partners, and work with the administration and planning of productions. The work includes responsibility for contract writing, tour organization, marketing material and printed material. As a producer, you report to the Artistic Director.

Form of employment: Permanent position starting with a probationary period of 6 months.
Working time: 70% Evening and weekend work occurs.
Starting date: 1 August 2024 or according to mutual agreement.
Location: Linköping, Sweden.
