St Mary's Music School - Piano Summer School

The International Piano Summer School at St Mary’s Music School, Edinburgh, offers talented pianists aged 13–17 the opportunity to immerse themselves in a focused and inspiring week of music-making in a residential setting.
Running from Sunday 2 to Friday 7 August 2026, the course brings together one-to-one piano lessons, chamber music coaching, performance classes and collaborative sessions, alongside workshops in Alexander Technique, mindfulness and yoga. The programme is designed to develop confidence, musical maturity and performance skills, supporting those preparing for conservatoire/ university study and those keen to refine their playing.
Directed by Helena Buckmayer with support from Anna Michels, the week concludes with a final concert at St Mary’s Cathedral as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Based at the School’s historic Edinburgh campus, places are limited and applications for 2026 are now open.
