Audition for Principal Viola

Jönköping Sinfonietta offer a fulltime permanent contract as Principal Viola in Jönköping Sinfonietta. The orchestra has 31 musicians and we play a broad range of repertoire; including symphonic music, operas, musicals, chamber music, for dance- and theatre productions, and productions created for young audiences. We work together with internationally renowned conductors, soloists, directors and choreographers.

Our main venues are the concert hall and the theatre of Kulturhuset Spira, and we also tour in the Region of Jönköping.

The audition will take place on the 13th – 14th June 2024.

The required pieces are:

First Round:
• Hoffmeister 1st movement WITH cadenza

• Stamitz 1st movement WITH cadenza

Second round:
• Bartok 1st movement.
