Principal Bassoon

Scottish Ballet, Scotland’s award winning national dance company has a part-time, freelance orchestra based in Glasgow, which tours with the company for approximately 18 weeks per year throughout the UK, performing an eclectic repertoire of scores, from contemporary electronica such as Mikael Karlsson's Coppélia, Peter Salem's jazz-inspired A Streetcar Named Desire, and classics such as Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and the upcoming winter season of The Snow Queen, with music by Rimsky-Korsakov.

We will be holding auditions for the position of Principal Bassoon on 5 December 2025.
