Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice
Solo – Viola (F/M)
Candidates are requested to:
- include in their application a CV with a description of their artistic achievements in both Polish and English – preferred length: 2 pages, preferred format: .pdf,
- attach to the application a link to an audio-video recording of the performance of the following pieces:
1) C. Stamitz – Viola Concerto in D major No. 1, I movement (mandatory cadenza by P. Klengel),
2) R. Vaughan Williams – Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.
The recording must be made in its entirety, without any editing, and submitted via a YouTube link.
- indicate in the application whether the candidate will perform with their own pianist or will use a pianist provided by NOSPR,
- specify in the application the repertoire to be performed in both Stage I and Stage II.
- send their application in an email entitled “Orchestra Musician – Viola” to rekrutacja@nospr.org.pl, or by traditional mail to the NOSPR address with the note “Do Działu Personalnego”
Only invited candidates will be admitted to the audition. Invitations will be sent no later than April 13, 2026. Sheet music for the audition program will be provided along with the invitation.
