SARTORY cello bow (splice)

Sartory silver mounted cello bow made around 1920.
Attention : the bow has a slice and the head is not original ! The head has been replaced and made by Norbert Seifert at least 20 years ago. It has been incredibly well made, we can’t even see the line of the 2 pieces of wood. The match is perfect and the head copy is very well done too.
I played on many different Sartorys and I can tell that the bow has all the characteristics of what we expect with this maker. Velvet and extreme quality sound. Perfect articulation never agressive. Great feeling of legato with this stick which is quite flexible.
The frog and button are in very good condition.
